The hotel has a great location close to restaurants and a lovely outdoor patio. However, the decor is quite outdated and the bathrooms feel cramped. Service was friendly, but it would be better if the rooms were updated and cleanliness improved.

The worst experience I ever had in a hotel was when I arrived and was greeted with a room that smelled like death and there was a dead roach laying there along with other people's junk still there just sitting around grossing me out.. I just couldn't believe it and after complaining they gave us a new room which also smelled bad and was outdated like it belonged in the last century. not what I expected for the price we paid and let me tell you it wasn't cheap

It wasn't inexpensive that's for sure but the lack of cleanliness and service was unbelievable and not what you would expect for the amount of money spent

easy walks to the national zoo and the national cathedral

the stay was fantastic, with a spacious room that felt like a home base for my adventures, and it was just a short walk to both the national zoo and the stunning national cathedral, which made exploring the area so easy and enjoyable; as a bonus, the hotel is right next to a metro stop that helped me get around the city effortlessly.

Had a great time with friends exploring the area. We loved paddle boating at the Tidal Basin and strolling through nearby parks. The hotel has spacious rooms and a cozy bar which was perfect for unwinding. It’s centrally located near great restaurants and attractions. Mostly clean and well-maintained, it was a solid choice for our trip.

We found the elevators slow and small, which made it frustrating during busy times. Waiting over five minutes for an elevator can wear you out, especially if your room is up a few floors.
